Ok, a couple of things to know before you watch this:, 1) Katie hasn't had a chance yet to shower after her workout this morning and so is looking especially lovely, 2) Molly owns and runs a home decor store so yeah, her house is really cute, 3) There are moments we try to talk and chew, don't be offended, 4) Don't mind the kids, or the beeping laser toy in the background
For those of you who are unable to watch this or are at work or just don't want to, the winner of the magnets from Simple Memory Artis
Chandrima, who said:
"Ok, well since everyone's already listed my favorite fruits and veggies, I'm left with the only other healthy thing I eat when I seriously need to feel nutritionally balanced - my favorite fish, salmon. Requires very little added to make the natural delicious flavors come out and you can prepare it anyway you like - baked, broiled, sauted, anything! Served with a fresh herb sauce and it's like a serving of heaven! I think I'll have some for dinner now that I'm talking about it so much!"
So, Chandrima, send us an email and we'll get those magnets to you right away!
Thanks for playing everyone! And for your great comments!

The Assistants

Kate and I went to our pump class with our male teacher. All 15 women in the class were lined up in two rows in the back of the class. No one was near him. Since Kate and I were late, we were forced into the front row in front of him. I told Kate "well, I guess we will just be his assistants."
*(In Katie's version, Molly actually giggled while saying, "heehee, let's go be his assistants!!!!" to which Katie just shook her head.)
There is something intimidating and empowering when you are in the front row. You can't stop in the middle of a set. Everyone in watching you-not on purpose-it's just that their eyes have to pass you to get to the teacher. Our teacher uses too heavy of weights (because he can't even make it through his routine!) Because of this, when he stops to catch his breath, SOMEONE needs to keep going...hence..the assistants. I really like going to the class with Kate because I think we push each other. She needs to graduate to 10 lbs weights though for her free weights. (Do you like how I drop the hint to her? Put it on the blog!) I need to up my weight on the bar.
If any of you have the chance to go to a good male teacher, I recommend it. We love Jay! He pushed us hard: I think we did 60 push ups, over 100 squats, over 100 lunges and over a billion bicep curls. My biceps were past burning - they went numb. It was the most wonderful feeling! I agree with Kate - I left feeling tighter and skinnier. What an easy way to get in 40 ounces of water!
YOU GO KATE!
