*Favorite Line:
"She is the craziest person I know".
(Bob talking about Jillian. Amen to that Bob.)
*Favorite Player this Week:
Neil. The whole "Do it or get outta here" talk he had with Jillian resonated with me.
*Least Favorite Player this Week:
Neil. Get with the program dude. And I felt bad for his wife at the weigh in.
*Favorite Moment:
Those stupid phone calls home get me choked up EVERY time. The black and white photo montages, the piano music in the background, I can feel it coming on but am helpless. "I love you Daddy! Are you going to bring home a prize?" AAAAH! PLease! I can't take it, go back to Jillian in the gym yelling at everyone!

Biggest Loser Finale
Amazing.
They all looked amazing. (especially impressed at Jerry, Phil, Patty, Kae)
*Surprise surprise, anyone shocked at the winner? Are you sad that a female didn't walk away with the prize? Or happy that the least-annoying member of the black team won?
*We're any of you blown away at how beautiful those last three ladies looked? I know losing weight will change the shape of your body, but not the space between your eyes or the whiteness of your teeth. And it won't make you have beautiful hair. (*Contemplating for a milisecond wearing makeup tomorrow*...nope)
*If this was the end of their road they're all set! But Isabeau said it best in one of those dramatic montages:
"It never gets easy."
What did you think? Favorites?
Or were you too busy taking a photo of your favorite healthy food to watch BL?

Biggest Loser and Inspiring Links
I've been struggling over the last couple of weeks to really come up with a "favorite" on NBC's Biggest Loser. No one is really standing out to me.
OH wait. One person is:
We've been slacking in our Bob Harper fan club duties. Which duties include...I'm not sure...
Finding Bob Harper ringtones perhaps?
Anyhoo, my favorite moment from last night had to be when he and Nicole and Neil were jogging and he whispered, "I want you to pass him!" to Nicole.
Other fav moments, or people?
If any of you happened to miss the episode (by choice or chance) don't worry, I've thrown in some awesome links just for you. (And I realize a lot of you will have already seen these, but I couldn't help it!)
Oprah's Weight Loss Show. HELLO. If you missed that episode, please, for the love. Go click.
ThickChick's post on Number Envy.
Marie's post that just made me so gosh darn proud (and NOT because she mentioned me people).
Bri's post on Perfectionism.
Have a great Wednesday!

Four For the Price of One
Life Sans Scale
I've been walking around for the last couple of days desperately trying to find ways to gauge my body's progress without numbers. Do you remember that Seinfeld episode where George's pants swoosh? I feel like I'm walking around like George, going, "What's that noise?" But it's more like: "What was that? Are my thighs closer together than they were yesterday?"
or, "I can't remember...was that roll there before?" RIDICULOUS!
And although I haven't made my mind up for sure, I do think I'll let him out of the closet on Friday for a quickie weigh.
Biggest Loser
Phil's Gone. Waaaaaaa! Who am I suppose to root for now? I loved Jerry, Patty, and Phil. Uhh, Go Bob!
Who is your fav?
For the Ab Haters:
More plank! (Please remember, I am NO trainer, don't know jack about form, and am not certified in any way to be doling out exercise advice.)
(FYI: I'm using a paper towel under my feet.) Anyone else have some crazy planks they'd like to tell us all about? Leave a comment! Or better yet, send us a picture! The email link is in the sidebar)
Random FYI:
We've got dear friends staying with us right now, and so I have been (and will be) away from my computer for a few days. Sorry if I get behind in bloggy visits and email, I sneak them in when possible! Pictures if my Star Wars brood will be posted in the next couple of days. For those of you who care (family), and those of you who are nice enough to humor me (Crabby, and Randi) I'm hoping to finish them by Saturday.

I'm Worth It
(If you did not watch Biggest Loser last night, feel free to skip down to the next paragraph)
I was so inspired during last night's episode when Bob had his team spinning at the gym. I loved it because a) I can't resist a great spin class and almost started crying when they were all yelling counting off the last sets ("Yes! Yes! I've been there! I know how you feel blue team!" and b) Bob gets it. I loved when he was talking to Patty about being a mother of 3 and how hard it is and then said, "You're worth it Patty." She nodded her head but then when he asked her to say it herself, "I'm worth it." She couldn't. He finally got her to say it through tears! So that's where I DID actually break down and cry...and was yelling (fists raised) at the tv, "YOU'RE WORTH IT PATTY!! YOU'RE WORTH IT!!"
It got me thinking about this whole proccess. Am I worth the time and attention and focus and sacrifice and reward that losing weight demands? And at the risk of sounding Stuart Smalley-ish, I really did asked myself: Am I worth it? Well, of course the answer is YES! But there are days I forget. Like when I come home from the gym to kids pouncing on me. Or feel guilty about the more expensive (and healthier) cereal I picked up from the store -just for me. Or when I start to wonder if I really will reach my goal. Or start to think that "other" people have a special ability to reach goals that I just don't have. Tonight was a great reminder that although there are several people depending heavily (and I do mean HEAVILY) on me, I still know that I am worth taking care of. In fact, I am better able to cope with the day-to-day physical demands of motherhood when I've exercised and planned out (at least some of) my meals. In our house, a healthy mom is a happier mom. It's really hard sometimes to keep yourself at the top of that priority list whether you're a mother or not. So the bottom line: Do you believe you deserve to be healthy and fit? Or are you like Patty on the bike, who couldn't even say "I'm worth it!" What do you tell yourself when you start to feel guilty or not worth all the trouble? And if you're one of those people who has no problem with anything like this-any help for those who do?
Thanks for the reminder Patty and Bob, because today, I'm feelin it.

Work Work Work
Just finished the Biggest Loser's, "Did They Keep the Weight Off?" episode. One of the things that surprised me was how many of them actually now have shifted their carreer to fit their healthy lifestyle. Everything from being a diabetes spokesperson to personal training, most of the past contestants featured do something for a living that has to do with inspiring others to be healthy too. I thought that was really cool and it got me thinking...
How does your job "fit" with your priority to be healthy? I know some of you work in an office, some are students, teachers, wedding planners (that's for you Meg), etc. Any Krispy Kreme managers out there? How DO you do it?
Being a stay-at-home mom has *some* challenges (I do realize some of these are unique to our situation):I have a kitchen at my disposal at all times.
I am constantly faced with things like peanut butter and blue-blox mac n'cheese.
Sometimes I'm tempted to eat three lunches. no joke. 1) with the kids, 2) when I finally get a minute to myself after they've gone to school, (p.m. kindergarten and preschool) 3) When they're eating a snack after school.
I've got an amatuer baker on my hands.
I have little people in my house who occasionally beg for things like sugar cereal. (Although I nipped that one in the bud with a frightening lecture on sugar and cavities. Let's hope they don't have any at their next checkup...)
I don't sleep a whole lot.
HOWEVER. It is also important to note:
I call the shots. I plan and cook all the meals and snacks (lots of times "'cooking" is unwrapping a Zone Bar).
I don't have anyone bringing crap into my work space (well, actually Aaron does...but only occasionally).
Despite our crazy schedules and LOTS of choas; I do have some flexibilty.
I've got a supportive husband (baking tendencies aside) and family. Aaron is always willing to move our schedules around so I can get to the gym (thanks honey).
So what about you? Anyone else want to whine or share some tips? Own a deli like Eric did? Would you ever change jobs or careers if it didn't fit with a healthy lifestyle?
Anway, here are the rest of my thoughts on Biggest Loser:
*I would've like to have seen more contestants from previous seasons. Most of them were from last season.
*Poppy and Pete were my favorites (Poppy, because she was never actually a contestant on the ranch, Pete, well, he and his wife were just so cute, and he looks fantastic).
*Things that I am excited about for next week: Bob. New faces. 3 teams.
*Haven't made up my mind about Alison Sweeney yet. It's not that I DON'T like her, I just kinda miss Caroline. Thoughts?

Bob Harper Fan Club
So the other night after Molly's post about Biggest Loser, I was feeling warm fuzzies for Bob the trainer and thought, "Hmm, I wonder if there's a Bob Harper Fan Club?" After a dedicated Google search, I realized, "NO Sir-ee Bob. Just doesn't exist." (heh heh). Not to worry Bob, Sister Skinny is already on it. (Although now that I think about it, maybe fan club isn't the right word. Sounds very teenager. We're open for suggestions). Love that very "personal", zen-master trainer? We do too. So here's an interview and his training site. Did you know that YOU can train with Bob too?....oh yeah, we also emailed him like the dorks we are to tell him how cool he is.
For you who aren't (and don't really care to be) familiar with NBC's The Biggest Loser, and trainer Bob (Yes, Crabby, I'm talking about you) not to worry! I threw in a link to the Biggest Loser Viewer Before and After photos. They're pretty amazing, so you can just go hang out there if you like.
