I just think it is so awesome that complete strangers can be so genuinely happy for anothers' joy. I can't even go into all the detail of getting Andie but let me just say that it is truly a miracle for our family. People comment on how lucky she is to be in our family - I look at opposite - we are so blessed, lucky - whatever you want to call it - for her to be in our family. My other children are not old enough to understand where children come from. To them, THIS is their sister!<BR/><BR/>So thank you for all of your comments of congratulations, encouragement and support. It was such a wonderful day today. My husbands family threw a little party and had a little chocolate cake. We sang, "happy adoption day" to Andie and she just happily growled at everyone (that is her mode of communication!). Another thing about Andie - she doesn't cry. she is just the most mellow, happy baby. Katie is stumped by her. She is just happy all day long.
