Friday Weigh In

Slight gain this week. It's Just a blip in the big picture. It could be any number of things. If I didn't have a laziness aversion to the tape measure I'd probably be telling you I lost some kind of inchage.

I've got a baby crawling on me so I'll make this quick. I laid off the running mileage just to give myself a break after Saturday. But. I've increased my weights and as a result there has been much moaning, waddling, and cringing in our house over the past couple of days.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment yesterday, I loved reading your experiences with the "cheat" meal, or "free" day.

Hope you have a Happy Easter weekend (I'll see you next year Cadbury Creme Egg).

Until you mentioned the Cadbury Cream Eggs, I had completely forgotten previous years addiction to Snickers Eggs! I guess that's progress, huh?

And I've had a small recent gain as well so starting Monday I will be attempting to reign in my eating yet again. Scrumpy's has inspired me with all her recent menu posting.

As long as we all watch out for eachother, we're all going to be fine! I've got your back Katieo! Keep kicking ass and those numbers will start going down again soon.

Hoppy Easter to you and all your little bunnies!

I forgot all about Easter candy temptations, dang it!

Somehow hardboiled eggs are never all that tempting.

(I've been hitting the gym lately so I can totally relate to the sore muscles--good for you! This would definitely explain weight gain as you gain muscle & lose fat!)

Luckily I don’t have children so there is not a big Easter candy temptation, but I do have a 32 year old husband with the metabolism of a 12 year old soccer star and an affinity for all things buttery, chocolate and full of fat who still expects an Easter basket from the best candy store in Louisville. It makes life hard.

Oh and the past 2 weeks have been some sort of crazy so I haven’t been hitting the gym like I should but it was really nice yesterday so I walked through a hilly park and now a part of my butt hurts that hasn’t hurt in years. We can waddle together.

I am feeling your pain, it hurts to lift my arms today and Wednesday the stairs were torture. It is a good kind of pain though because I know I have muscles in there if they get sore ;) Have a wonderful, blessed holiday with your family, we will in spite of the snow that is quite steadily coming down...ICK

I miss weight training. Running takes up all my workout time lately and I haven't made it to weights/toning class.

I like that feeling of soreness (my husband thinks I'm crazy) because it makes me know I got in a good workout!

My grandmother use to send us a HUGE dark chocolate covered coconut egg from philly every easter. I used to eat a slice a night for at least 2 weeks. disgusting.

I can't stand those cream eggs, but could easily eat a dozen peanut butter eggs if left alone in a room with them. :)

You've been doing fab and I'm sure the inches story is a true one. Keep it up!
