My Kashi Collection

How can you not love an 85 calorie, 4 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber, waffle?
I am not advocating substituting real food for the Kashi. Fruits, veggies, real whole grains, these things are obviously the better choice. But as I looked around my kitchen the other day, I noticed all of my "convenience" food happened to be Kashi (that's right people, I believe my FiberOne days are over)
No, I am not doing this as a promotional deal; I'm not getting anything for Kashi pushing. They really do just make good stuff. If you go to there website, they just seem like such nice people too. They even had a snack drive to rid the world of bad snacks (watch the TV spot here).
I need one of those booths set up right outside my kitchen door.

I've tried the granola bars, and they were great! Maybe I will have to try more of their products...

I want those waffles!! I always see the ads in magazines, but they don't sell them in Canada. Grrrr....

LOL! I have sometimes wondered if I almost single-handedly support the Kashi company because I use so much of their stuff. My go to in a hurry packed lunch fav is the balck bean mango frozen dinner-YUM! The granola bars are great too, and I love the Go lean cruch...but it doesn't love me...

I keep going back and forth between the Kashi waffles and the more hard-core whole grain brands.

The dilemma is the white flour they include in the Kashi's make them taste like actual waffles! But I always feel like I should be getting more whole grains, and alas, the whole grain ones taste like two by fours.

Mmmm, waffles...

Kashi is GREAT! They're frozen meals are delicious, too!

I LOVE Kashi waffles. I had one with a banana and a glass of milk for breakfast this morning.

Now I've been known to love the Kashi. But I've kind of given up my "bars" I'm not sure how I feel about "brown rice syrup" being THE NUMBER ONE ingredient. I mean it is still a sugar. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I mean if it were corn syrup (and not even HFCS) this would seem terrible right? Why is brown rice syrup any better? I have yet to find any info on this.

I am ADDICTED to their waffles. I eat them for breakfast, as snacks, heck, as dinner. I treat them like a food group. I may require a Kashi intervention one of these days.

Have you tried the Roll! bars? They are great! I cut them in half and eat one half before working out and the rest after.

In moderation they are a good snack and I feel like I'm eating a candy bar!

I will have a look, but I don't think we have them here :(

I like the GoLean Crunch cereal dry. It seems like adding milk makes it too sickly sweet for me.
I usually have 2/3 cup with fruit and yogurt for breakfast or snack.
BEWARE of eating too much though...my husband ate three cups last night and boy does he STINK today! LOL!
I like the Kashi bars also but still prefer the Fiber 1 bars...gotta have my chocolate!

Kashi also has frozen meals. Whenever the Captain doesn't cook for me, I bail on real cooking and go for the frozen kashi meals. hee hee. LAZY MUCH!

I noticed you didn't have any Kashi TLC crackers. I highly recommend them. My son eats them w/cheese and fruit for lunch all the time and he's 2 1/2!

I've actually had to ban the Go Lean Crunch from my kitchen because I love to eat it sprinkled on top of a bowl of vanilla yogurt...or four. Yum!
