Friday Weigh-In

Well, I'm in the 130's. But it feels rather fake. There was nothing about this loss this week that had to do with eating well or exercising. Mostly it had to do with grief, stress, and illness. And while I'm glad it's a loss and not a gain, I'll just hang tight and see if it sticks before I do the happy dance.

Here's a list of stuff:

1) I swear every time I've done a post this week, I've gone back and read it and somehow missed MAJOR errors. Misspelled and misplaced words, etc. Yeesh! Apparently, I cannot be trusted to spell such words as "get" or "because." Usually I have another set of eyes read it over for such mistakes but have obviously fallen out of that habit.

2) I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what's wrong with our profile pictures on the sidebar. I have tried many things, (different browser, new pictures, new format, resizing, etc.) Have you forgotten what we look like? We're still trying to figure it out, so we'll have them up as soon as we can.

3)Michelle Shildkret (a really nice marketing-for-NBC type person) sent me a link to a new biggest loser teaser. It's here. I went and watched it and didn't quite like it as much as the last one. However, I DID enjoy the Bob Harper interview that is found on the same page. Enjoy!

4) I really liked this post over at Phit-n-Phat the other day.

Congrats on the 130s ... now I just hope it sticks! Doesn't it stink that you always seem to be your thinnest when you either (a) have the flu, or (b) are so distressed that you aren't eating. Ah! C'est la vie!

Well, you've gotten through a really tough week so I say relax and enjoy the three day weekend. Don't worry about weight fluctuations or blog frustrations, just treat yourself with some well-deserved family & fun time.

(And I don't think I've ever had a single post where I didn't go back and find some typo or something in there!)

Crabby. Good advice, I'm really looking forward to the long weekend.
And I know we all have typos and stuff, I just can't believe how LONG mine have actually stayed up before I noticed them! :I

And Bridget, lol, if only you could reason with that thing!

You're much more diligent than I am--I don't even bother to fix my blog mistakes anymore! Not unless they're huge formatting errors or I've left out a word or something that makes it impossible to understand what the heck I'm talking about. I just let the rest of 'em go--as readers may have noticed.

Congratulations! You are "in the groove" and on your way down (even if you do snack from the occasional "open bag" now and then).

Loved the post from Phit or fat that you pointed out. I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong--oh well. It was inspirational.

You'll just have to work extra hard this week to make sure you stay in the 130s! (you know, so even if you weren't there you will be now. and if you WERE there, now you'll be even lower!)
So jealous of that number! But i'm gaining (losing?) on ya!
