Well, the scale was not as kind today as I though he was going to be. I should've known better. Flirting with 141 over the past couple of days was so exciting. (Sigh) And so I have to thank Jessica for this comment:
"Your WI this week teaches what I think is the most important lesson on this journey -- one meal, one snack, one missed pee really CAN [screw up] your weight loss for the week. The important thing is that you don't let that disappointment throw you off course... know deep down inside that you probably really DID lose, it just might take a day or two to show up."
Bingo! Thanks Jessica.
(UPDATE: I had to leave this comment too from anonymous: "I just wanted to remind you of something that you said, and I quote, 'Both of us use weights on a regular basis and find our actual weight doesn't always match the changes we see in our body.'"
Pretty smart words, thanks for the reminder anonymous!)

If you flirted with 141 this week, you are way ahead of me! I am officially 3.5 lbs. away from the cracking the 130's. I think you're gonna beat me!
Not quite. As of today, I'm pretty solid in the 143 range.
That is a great comment. And if you're doing all the stuff you're supposed to be doing, she's right, sooner or later that loss with show up.
Randi, I have to agree.
And, I see you've added a profile picture thingy.
LOVE it!
Hey Katie,
I weighed in on Fri and was down about 0.5 lb but my scale only weighs in whole numbers to it kept flashing between the 2 numbers which usually indicated 1/2 lb. Anyhoo I'm blaming PMS and hope that this week will be better. I'm 4.5 away from breaking my barrier. Sorry for the long comment but I can't email cause I'm not set up on outlook. My DH has something different in place so when I click email it doesn't work for me.
I just wanted to remind you of something that you said, and I quote, "Both of us use weights on a regular basis and find our actual weight doesn't always match the changes we see in our body."
Great quote, but I agree with anonymous too. It's more important to watch the changes in your body. Inch loss means far more than pound loss.
anonymous,
Oooo!, what a GREAT reminder! Thanks! I think I'm a little hyper sensitive about this stage because although I do believe overall it's not just a numbers game, I ALWAYS get stuck here. I can't seem to break out of the 140's. But I completely agree with you and Stephanie, changes in my body rather than numbers definitely matter more.
Amber,
That's fine! Thanks for checking in, and if you ever want to email me in the future, here's my address:

I have been in the same position trying to get into the 120s. I've been sticking to my goals and still the scale is not budging. I took much longer to lose my postpartum weight after my 1st and fear that maybe I won't be able to reach my goals as quickly as it seemed this time either... my weight loss is REALLY slowing up (I'm 6 months postpartum). I feel like I'm on a bad episode of Biggest Loser...
Mrs Furious,
I'm right there with you. Postpartum weight loss is a tricky thing. While I'm breastfeeding, my body seems to hold on to the weight like it's going out of style (if only! HA!).
Hang in there!
