We know you're out there. We can't see you, (although we'd like too. Well, most of you...) but we would love to hear from you. So today on Sister Skinny, we'll show you some ways to voice your brilliant opinions and share your sparkling personalities with us. For those of you who need a brief tutorial, stay here. The rest of you seasoned bloggers there's a normal post coming shortly.
The first and most important step is to click on the word "comments" below this post. It probably has a "0" next to it.
From there, type to your heart's delight and then select an identity. You can choose anonymous, your google account, or "other." You can type in whatever name you want in the "other" category (and don't need to type anything in the web page field.) Then click "Preview" if you'd like to see what the final product will look like. Then viola! Click publish and your all set.
Or, for you sisters who don't want to leave a comment for the whole world to see, simply click on the newly added "EMAIL US" feature on the sidebar. Tell us what you like, what you don't like, what you'd like to see more, or just more about you. Maybe you know someone or something we should be writing about. Let us know.

God, what a smart thing to do!
It never occurred to me to explain the commenting process, even though it's far from obvious if you haven't done it before. Thanks for the public service!
(Now if any of you newly-minted commenters want to practice your skills on other blogs...)
And just LOOK how successful we've been! :)

You make me laugh all the time!
Oohh Ohhh I'm paying attention!! I enjoy reading your blog!! Come visit mine sometime...
Pattie- you get an "A" for enthusiasm! And I've been over to your neck of the woods, I suppose I should comment more, eh? :)
Crabby sent me. I do whatever she says to do - - well, except I just keep trying new vegetables. (sorry Crabby). But I do agree with her that the obvious may not be so obvious to the new blog readers of the world. Case in point; at one of the blog networks I blog professionally for, one blogger has been having issues with people who keep leaving their full names and phone numbers in the comments.
We deduced that perhaps they just don't know any better. Now will I leave a "how to comment" post at my personal blog? Likely no, most of my regulars would be insulted or possibly laugh me out of blogsville. Would I do it for a work blog. Yes.
Either way, good post; very thought provoking. (oops I mean comment provoking).
Jennifer, thanks for your comment. A large percentage of our readers are friends and family, and thier friends and family, etc. We put up this post after personally talking to some of them:
"Comment? How? Why?"
I'm just hoping it didn't come across to bloggers as desperation. :)
Thanks again.
