Hip Hop Princess

About two years ago a friend and I mustered up enough courage to attend a "hip hop" dance class at my gym.

stop laughing!

Anyway, it was one of THE funnest workouts I have ever done. In fact it didn't even feel like working out, although I was totally sweating (which also may been exacerbated by the fits of giggling... )

Well, we moved away and that was the end of my 3 month long hip hop run. At my current gym, they only offer *dirty* dancing- not exactly my cup of tea.

So when I ran across this I just had to share:

What do you think those gloves are for?

Anyone else an undercover dancing queen?

I am a serious dancing queen, (wow could that be read in a different way).
Seriously, I living room dance and found the Hip Hop Abs workout dvd. I did actually have sore abs after that workout so I think it's doing something.

hi, just found you! i have to comment...i did hip hop dance for about 6 months religiously on saturdays. i have never been in better shape. and it was sooo fun! it was a really hard workout, working muscle groups that i didn't know existed. so, yeah, i guess i'm a dancing queen.
