Space Ranger

Every now and then as I shut my van door, I see my distorted self in the reflection and for the briefest of seconds I think, "Am I really that fat?" The thought usually lingers with me for a couple of minutes, and then my brain goes into "don't be ridiculous" mode.

Anyway, today Sam had to bring something that started with "B" to preschool. As I was putting Buzz in his little schoolbag I was reminded of one of my favorite movie moments from Toy Story 2. Buzz Lightyear sees the new anti-gravity belt, goes to check it out, and the first thing he says when he sees "himself" is:



"Am I really that fat?"
